The Folk & Traditional section has a couple of different types of unique instruments.

This section is where we keep our Ukuleles. The Ukulele is a really interesting sounding instrument, originally being an adaptation of a Portuguese instrument, the ukulele means “Jumping flea”, due to its lively and bright sound. These are really common on youtube and provide a really great backing sound, especially for higher range vocalists. 

There are also Banjo’s, one of our most unique offerings. A banjo has strings and a neck like a guitar, with what looks like a snare drum for the body. Five string banjos are the most common style, the fifth string being used as a drone string. This string is also shorter than the rest of the strings and is tuned to the key of the song you're playing.
